MANILA – Feb 2021 Sitel signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Don Bosco Technical Institute (DBTI) to provide essential skills training and an end-to-end immersive work experience program for roughly 350 high school students.
The partnership between Sitel and DBTI is an ongoing collaboration between the two institutions to help senior high school students build essential work skills while simultaneously experiencing the real work environment from job application training, job interview mockups, and on-the-job experiences. “We’re proud to be the top immersion partner for Don Bosco,” said Fatima Tigas, Director, Strategic People Program. “Students have showcased excellent progress and the feedback had been phenomenal. Through our ongoing partnership, we are building a true community in Tarlac and giving more students chances to create a fulfilling career with Sitel and in the customer experience industry.”
The Sitel Academy Program continues to make meaningful and impactful partnerships with learning institutions in Metro Manila and the provinces where Sitel operates. Driven by the company’s “Learn, Lead & Grow with the Sitel Barkada” employee promise, Sitel Academy seeks to bring the company’s extensive training programs and immersive experiences to as many students as possible. Since 2020, Sitel has expanded to a wide roster of online training classes and virtual immersion programs.
For DBTI, Sitel will be providing a work immersion program for roughly 350 senior high school students. The program includes essential skills-building webinars, on-the-job experiences, and coaching from Sitel experts to help students learn more about the business and understand the demands of a highly competitive job market. In addition to learning communication and technical skills, students will also be given a comprehensive Job Application Webinar and Workshop concluding in a mock panel job interview so students can undergo the entire process as realistically as possible.

The MOU signing was a virtual event that brought together representatives from DBTI including DBTI SDB Rector Fr. Jerry T. Santos, MAEd, MEdLM, AMI – Principal Gil A. Siongco II, LPT MAEd Assistant Principal for Academic Affairs-Senior High School Arra Dianne B. Marcelo, LPT, Work Immersion Program Coordinator and Work Immersion Teacher Francis Ion C. Sangil, and Work Immersion Teacher for STEM Francis Giovanni C. David. Sitel was represented by Tigas, Learning Specialist and University and Community Partnership Liaison Marie Grace N. Lulu, and Learning Specialist Neil D. Caronan.
