Sitel Tarlac kabarkadas paid it forward again to the community by donating blood to the Philippine Red Cross recently.
Twenty-nine associates donated blood during the Philippine Red Cross May Dugong Bayani Bloodletting, held at the Tarlac Site 2 Multipurpose Hall on July 2.
To donate, associates had to first pass a screening, which required donors to: 1. be of good general health; 2. weigh 50kg or more; 3. haven’t traveled in the last 14 days to anywhere with local COVID-19 transmission; 4. have no cough or colds in the last 14 days.
Mack Hizon, HR Generalist, said that for every four blood donors, the PRC is giving Sitel one referral card, which will be useful should any associate need to avail the PRC’s services.
May Dugong Bayani is a blood donation drive initiated by Department of Health and Philippine Red Cross. Associates who wish to volunteer are asked to donate blood on site. The donated units of blood will be given to the organization’s blood banks.
