What should you expect in our Sitel hiring process?

1. Application and Profiling Interview

We will be asking you some information regarding your career and experience. We want you to be successful so we need to make sure you are a great fit for our job openings.

We have automated this process online to make this easy for you – no calls and no waiting in line.

2. Assessment

Assessments will be the next part of your recruitment journey.

  • A virtual evaluation and online assessment will be administered for you to test your skills and knowledge
  • Language assessment and interview will follow
  • Final Interview

3. Digitized Job Offer

This is where we will discuss about the job and also the compensation and great benefits that await you as you join our #SitelBarkada.

4. Pre-Employment Requirements

All our kabarkadas should complete our pre-employment requirements. We will be providing a list for you on this site so you know exactly what you need to prepare before your first day.

5. New Hire Orientation

We welcome you officially as part of our Sitel Barkada! This is the time for us to get to know each other better as we introduce you to your new barkada family.

Sitel Academy, a pioneering BPO upskilling program that is offered for free, has evolved into a formidable skills development program for near-hires, far-hires, students, opportunity-deprived and differently-abled individuals.

Sitel Academy has been awarded as the 2018 People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP) People Program of the Year. The program was recognized for providing an inclusive and learner-focused training environment for Filipinos.

Sitel Academy is directed to minimize skills shortages, focus on training skills that are in demand in different verticals. Sitel Academy’s curricula focus on technical core skills (i.e. BPO fundamentals, communication skills, etc.) and non-technical core skills such as critical thinking, structured and logical thinking, and empathetic listening.

How Does it Work?

If your language assessment did not turn out as planned, we can definitely help you. You’ve read about our award winning program, so now, you will get to know how to join the academy.

When you join Sitel Academy, your training is free and you even get to receive an allowance during the course of your training.

Here are the Sitel Academy Steps:

  • Your Recruitment Team will reach out to you to join our Sitel Academy training class (and the class details)
  • The length of the classes vary but it typically lasts for 2 weeks or more
  • We will focus on enhancing your language skills through our comprehensive language program conducted by our expert Sitel Academy training team
  • We will run language assessments to gauge your improvement at the end of the class
  • Endorse you again to our recruitment team for program interviews (we’re pretty sure you’d feel more confident this time around after receiving our training)

Our new ways of working under the pandemic

Sitel Philippines’ COVID-19 response

Sitel has always given its employees’ health the highest importance. Since the first quarantine was imposed, we have strictly followed all the safety measures required by the Department of Labor and Employment, the Department of Trade and Industry, and the Inter-agency Task Force. Some of those measures are:

  • The Triage procedure for employees who are coming back to the site to work
  • The Online Health Declaration Form; required daily for everyone who enters the site, including all site leaders, no exceptions.
  • Regular scheduled cleaning and disinfection procedures; done daily in production and common areas alike.
  • Targeted deep cleaning procedures in the event of suspected COVID-19 cases, whether or not they are confirmed positive.
  • Shuttle service – point-to-point transportation to and from the Sitel sites and select locations
  • Face mask and shield given to in-center associates to protect themselves while inside and outside our facilities. Also, alcohol and sanitizers are placed at all entrances and other strategic areas so associates may use them at any given time. Disinfecting foot baths are also provided at entrances as added measure.
  • Sitel at Home chosen associates were issued assets to be able to work from home. These includes desktop, WiFi/internet conection, and even WFH provisional allowance.
